The best attractions to see in Tenerife

Visit Tenerife and you will never be short of places to visit! If you are planning on visiting any of the Tenerife attractions it often pays to buy your attraction tickets in advance.

There are many online retailers providing tickets so choosing one you can trust can be challenging. For many years we have worked with Attractiontix and are pleased to recommend their service. They provide tickets for all the major attractions in Tenerife including Siam Park, Loro Parque, Aqualand, and many more. Visit their web site for tickets and you are sure to save money!

Here's a brief summary of the most popular Tenerife attractions.

Siam Parkis much more than a water park! It's a place where the whole family, young and old can choose to relax in the tropical environment, or take the challenge of the most thrilling water rides in the world!

Loro Parque has long been a family favourite. Now you can visit the park and see Penguins, Dolphins, Sea Lions, and Orca Whales. Not forgetting the Parrots of course!

Jeep Safari's are a real adventure. Climb the mountain roads as you explore Mount Teide and the beautiful village of Masca.

The Yellow Submarine, or Submarine Safari as it is also known. This operates from the harbour in San Miguel and it's a real treat! Once you are aboard, you will be taken out into the Atlantic waters and dive to depths where you will explore the crystal clear waters.

Jungle Park is a popular attraction in the south of the island. It's a good place to go with family or friends to see a whole range of exotic animals and wildlife. You will find free busses that will take you to and from the park. These serve the major resorts in south Tenerife.

Go-Karting is a long standing favourite, particularly popular with some of the younger generation. It's popular with Stag and Hen parties and will certainly get your adrenalin racing! You will pass the karting circuit, on your left, as you travel from the airport to the major resorts in the south. Again, there is free transport provided for those who want to take part.

Quad Biking, Jeep Safari's, Horse Riding and Scuba Diving are some of the other Tenerife attractions that can be enjoyed. Some of these can be booked in advance, online, which will save you money compared to buying in resort.

Finally, one attraction which you can't fail to overlook is Mount Teide. You can take a half day or full day excursion to the top of the mountain and it is well worth doing! Better still, consider hiring a car and driving to the top. It is a beautiful drive with stunning scenery.

As you would expect, there is so much more to do. In fact there is so much to see and do in Tenerife that you would need to take an extra long holiday to enjoy everything that's on offer in one visit! That's why it's so important to plan your holiday in advance and make the most of your time.
